STASH and BOMS

Busy day here today. Stash Club has been cut, folded, collated, packed, stamped and will be in the post box tonight.

We will do this to our BOMs tomorrow. Today I was busy finishing patterns for them which included taking a photo of the Aunts Quilt.

It was windy here in Melbourne today. Had to use our bodies to hold the quilt to the wall to make sure it staid in one place. I snapped this picture of the Boss Lady holding the quilt. Can you tell she hates having her photo taken?

I love you, Mum!

Sue Spargo 2012

Sue's classes have been and gone. They are always so much fun and this year was no different. It was pretty chaotic at times so I really took limited photos (was too busy being lunch lady). I didn't get a photo with Sue, or of any of the lovely ladies who joined us over the 3 days of workshops but I did manage to snap a few things on my phone.

Sue's work is so beautiful. Photos don't seem to do it justice.
The bottom photo is so my favourite. It's a story of Sue's childhood in South Africa. I love it!

The detail that goes into every one of her quilts is incredible.

Being lunch lady, of course there were photos snapped in the kitchen.

We were lucky to have a few sunny, winter days. The sunshine was beautiful and there were hints of spring around.

Looking forward to what's to come!

Mini Quilt by Judy B

Just a quick post about a lovely little project that wandered through our doors a few days ago.
Judy came in to show us her quilt for the Doll Quilt Swap happening at the moment and it is beautiful!

I am pretty jealous of the reciever.
Great work, Judy!

Roses.

I love them.

I snap these on my phone as I walk to and from work each day.

Same goes for pictures of skies and powerlines.

My mother made me this cushion.
I love it too.

Enjoy your weekend!
