'Bimbi'

Meet the new toy at our house - a Thermomix.
This is very exciting. Very, very exciting. This weird but wonderful things cooks, chops, weighs, stirs, steams. Pretty much, it does everything!
Last night I made risotto without stirring it once. You probably think the lack of stirring is the amazing part, but the fact I managed to cook something is truly amazing.

We have named the new member of our family Bimbi.
We love you, Bimbi.

"I'm High Tech Baby" - Fembot, by Robyn

Trying to get Amitie a spot on the online map.
We now have a Facebook fan page - This will be a place for quick updates and photo sharing.
I am trying to kick start our Flickr presence by adding a new group for The Circle Game blog. Flickr is a new thing for me, please have patience while I master it!
Our online store is there and will be getting bigger and better very soon.
And of course the 2 blogs.
I wonder how many user names and passwords my brain can store before it explodes?

Rain

Found this picture in the photo archive here at Amitie.
I looked at these gumboots before my morning train trip and thought I'd be over doing it. I thought the rain would stop.
It's now 2.19 pm and it's still raining.
Oh gumboots, why did I neglect you this morning?

shocked...

The other day while shopping I visited my local craft superstore (will remain nameless) and was shocked at some of the prices.

I used my sneaky, secretive photo skills to capture proof... our heavier weight fusible pellon (same product, from the same supplier) is on our shelf for about $10.40!!

It is worth checking out your local, independent craft store.
